This is a weird drawing, but I believe is the best I've ever made (even better than one I did about a year ago, that sadly was thrown out unknowingly by my dad during my whole moving process).

You may ask, "Why is it weird?" Well, first a bit of history. I started this sketch a few weeks ago when one of my classes was either cancelled or let out early. So I was in the library with nothing to do, and decided to draw something. I finished the head at that time. Everything else was drawn today. Now, I started thinking that I'd try my hand at drawing my friend (or more specifically, her personal anime-style character, or whatever you call it), but from using all the different references I used, it's now more like a hybrid of mostly her and some Rikku (of FFX fame), with maybe a tiny bit of Haruko (of Fooly Cooly/FLCL fame) in there as well. And some of it is kind-of original as well. So I'm confused about it, hence the vague title.

Notes about the drawing: Okay, the hat is in reference to Black Mage Rikku (my favorite dressphere from FFX-2 for Rikku). Also, I originally intended to have her wear jeans, but after drawing the base legs and knees, I fell in love with how good I drew her right knee (it's the one you see on the left), so I decided to give her shorts. Haha! Also, no feet because my first attempt was awful, and I didn't feel like redoing them, so I just erased them and continued with the rest of the drawing.

Anyway, the references I used are: Rikku fanart, official Rikku FFX-2 art, a cel pic of Botan, a few Haruko pics (from memory, hahaha!), a Misato pic (for the shorts), Black Mage Rikku (for the hat), and this (also from memory).

Hope you like it, Ned, because it's kind-of supposed to be you (well, your anime/drawn version of you)! Now where's that attempt at drawing me you said (I believe) you were going to do? haha!
