Alternate title: Timeline of Destruction

(almost would have went with "Super Best Friends", but I'll save that for if I ever decide to try and convert one of the old Super Aguri F1 schemes to a #89 car :XD: )

This is an alternate paint-scheme for Avenger's nr2003 ride. And actually, it's the third alternate scheme that I've worked on (second that, I think, fits his style and current sponsor arrangement however; and first with Acer as the lead sponsor ^^; ) for the 89. This one, though, was originally inspired by the National Guard car Jeff Gordon drove a couple weeks ago at Texas. I was looking at the newspaper story for his win, and just fell in love with how the c-pillar of that scheme looked in the black and white photograph shown in that article. So I said, "I have to make a car with a scheme using silver/chrome back there like that".

And in the end, I used a chrome layer instead of going with metallic silver (as I could only find chrome for the COT Charger), and make the C-pillar black. So much for the best laid plans! ^^;

Anyways, in the process of making this, I went to Acer's website to check on some things (and also ended up getting inspired for yet another 89 scheme :XD: ), and saw that they were pushing a laptop called the "Aspire Timeline", which actually is a brand new "thin and light" style of laptop Acer is selling. And as such, I thought "well, if this is going to be an alternate scheme, I might as well have the scheme advertise a new product of theirs," since that's how most alternate schemes seem to work anyway.

Sooooo... This is what I ended up with. Hope you all like this!

(and for fun, look at the 43 scheme I did, and compare and contrast, while seeing how far I've come from my first own COT design, to my latest own COT design. Also, the render is "missing" the Goodyear logo, because I'm a dope and forgot to fix the logo so it could be seen on white; I am aware of that ^^; ))

Many thanks again to Avenger for rendering this scheme, giving me the decal set for his scheme (even though it took a while =p ), and overall just being awesome.

And finally, and I mean it this time, this will be the last scheme I post before putting up at least one drawing; I have ideas I want to draw, and just need both time and my ear not being completely clogged up to get it done.

Last time I drove a car designed by you, I dominated in it.

I doubt there'll be much of a change this time.

I can't even begin to describe how awesome this thing is. (And I've been trying to ever since you sent me the TGA for it.)
